Office furniture like chairs, tables etc. are an important part of the basic infrastructure of the office. These determine the working environment and hence the productivity of the same. In addition to this ventilation, temperature, availability of the water supply and the food are some of the other determinants. It is the responsibility of the management to provide all these requirements to the employees.

This is the place where they spend most of their time in their office. More comfortable the chair of an employee, more attention he may pay to the job and hence more productivity. If the employee doesn’t get it good it will not be comfortable and hence he may not work upto the potential.

This even helps in catching the eye of the new customers. So the place where the employees work including the office desks should be very comfortable and should be regularly cleaned to make the environment more hygienic.
